I’m not the kind of therapist who sits back and nods. I’m here to help you create real, lasting change.
So many adults with full lives reach a point where their coping strategies stop working. They’ve tried powering through, being the strong one, controlling their emotions with food, masking with perfectionism, or pushing their body past its limits. Traditional talk therapy only goes so far when your stress shows up physically, your nervous system is dysregulated, or your patterns run deeper than “just think differently.”
What makes my approach different is that I understand these struggles from both a professional and deeply personal place.
How My Approach is Different
I Have Over 20 Years of Mind–Body Experience
In addition to my work as a therapist, I’ve spent over two decades in the health and wellness industry as a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and Certified Personal Trainer.
This means I understand:
• How stress lives in the body
• How perfectionism and body image collide
• How emotional patterns affect eating
• How the nervous system shapes motivation, fatigue, and cravings
• How burnout feels both physical and emotional
You’re not just a mind trying to think your way out of stress. Your entire system is involved. My approach honors that.
I’ve Healed My Own Relationship With Food and My Body
I’ve lived the pressure, the body criticism, the guilt, the emotional eating, the cycles of control and shame.
My healing wasn’t about discipline. It was about understanding my emotions, my nervous system, and the deeper patterns beneath the behaviors.
Because of this, I never pathologize the ways you cope.
I help you make sense of them and gently transform them.
I’m Neurodivergent and I See What Others Miss
My sensitivity allows me to attune deeply to what’s happening inside you: the subtle shifts, the emotional undercurrents, the body cues, the patterns beneath your words.
Clients often tell me they’ve never felt so seen, understood, or validated.
If you’re a deep feeler, an overthinker, a high achiever, or someone who “feels everything,” you’ll be right at home here.
I Practice What I Teach
I’ve rebuilt my life through major transitions including sobriety, divorce, a move, and a career change. I don’t offer tools I haven’t personally lived and practiced.
My work is grounded, compassionate, realistic, and deeply human.
I Combine Science, Skills, and Somatic Work for Real Results
Therapy with me is an integrative blend of:
• CBT, DBT, and ACT (for patterns and thoughts)
• Somatic and nervous system regulation (for the body)
• Emotional processing (for deeper healing)
• Behavioral and habit-change strategies (for sustainable change)
This isn’t talk therapy that leaves you nodding and hoping things improve.
It’s therapy that gives you tools, insight, and support that actually shift your daily life.
I Work Especially Well With High-Functioning, Overloaded Adults
If you’re the strong one…
The achiever…
The caretaker…
The resilient one…
The one who rarely asks for help…
I understand you.
You don’t need someone to tell you to “just rest” or “think positive.”
You need someone who understands the emotional load you’ve been carrying,
and knows how to help you put it down.
I Believe Change Should Feel Supportive, Not Punishing
No shame.
No judgment.
No pressure to get it perfect.
Just gentle, steady work that helps you feel more grounded, more regulated, and more like yourself again.
You’re Not Too Much.
You’re Not Broken.
You’re Not Alone.
You deserve support that honors the whole you: your mind, your body, your history, and your strength.
If you’re ready to feel more grounded and less overwhelmed, let’s talk.
